Another year has passed with the blog at a good pace; it has now been three years of regular publications and almost seven years since the first posts<\/strong>. As I did last year, in this final post of the year, I will review the most notable figures and the most visited content. <\/p>\n

It is very interesting to see how visits have continued to grow this year, especially considering that I have reduced the number of monthly entries.<\/p>\n

At the end of last year, I changed the weekly publication schedule from two posts on Tuesdays and Thursdays to a single post on Wednesdays. Despite this, the past months of October and November have been the best so far, with no fewer than 8,350 and 8,237 sessions respectively. <\/p>\n

The total throughout 2018 was 109,914 visits (sessions according to Analytics) compared to 67,959 in 2017.<\/p>\n

But the best part has not been the visits, but the increase in subscribers<\/strong>, the comments<\/strong>, and the emails<\/strong> I have been receiving from regular readers whom I have been able to help\u2014an interaction that continues to grow every year.<\/p>\n

The number of subscribers is already on the verge of 1,000, a very good figure considering that in May I did a cleanup to adapt the blog to the new General Data Protection Regulation<\/a>, going from 800 subscribers to 400. Therefore, it represents a growth of about 600 new subscribers in just 8 months. <\/p>\n

At an international level, it is also consolidating; in addition to Spain (which represents 51%), the countries with the most followers are Mexico and Argentina<\/strong>, followed by Colombia, Chile, Peru, and the United States. In total, there have been visits from 137 different countries, although some of them are not very significant. <\/p>\n

As for comments, there are now 683 across 214 published entries.<\/p>\n

The most notable content during 2018<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The content is focused on film distribution<\/strong>, especially at festivals and in any format, whether short films or feature films<\/strong>. The blog has become a very important professional tool in my daily life, as it allows me to maintain a personal archive and share many of the topics that arise during my own work process. <\/p>\n
