With 2016 just underway, and as I published in 2014, it is now time to take stock of 2015 with the global figures for the catalogs we distribute: Madrid en corto<\/a>, OFF ECAM<\/a>, and the ECAM short films<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In general terms, this year has been the best for selections<\/strong>, with an impressive figure of 1,707, well above the 1,445 in 2014.<\/p>\n

To analyze the year, I like to look at the monthly evolution of selections, which also gives us an idea of the months with the highest number of festivals:<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

For most of the year, we have been above 100 selections, with the month of November exceeding 200. In the graph, I have also differentiated between competitive selections and parallel sections (out of competition). <\/p>\n

At an international level<\/strong>, I have compiled all the selections into a graph by country; there were 799 in total:<\/p>\n

We have participated in 65 different countries, with Italy and the United States leading the way. In addition to these figures, I have just published two individual posts on the Madrid en corto<\/a> and OFF ECAM<\/a> blogs. <\/p>\n
