{"id":11715,"date":"2015-02-06T19:01:24","date_gmt":"2015-02-06T18:01:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ismaelmartin.com\/french-short-film-figures-for-2014\/"},"modified":"2015-02-06T19:01:24","modified_gmt":"2015-02-06T18:01:24","slug":"french-short-film-figures-for-2014","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ismaelmartin.com\/en\/french-short-film-figures-for-2014\/","title":{"rendered":"French Short Film Figures for 2014"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the <strong>Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Market<\/strong>, there is a visit I like to make to the <strong>CNC<\/strong> stand, the <strong>Centre National du Cin\u00e9ma et de l&#8217;Image Anim\u00e9e<\/strong> (the equivalent of ICAA in Spain) to see the report they publish each year on <strong>French short film figures.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This report contains surprising data, especially when viewed from Spain, such as the <strong>\u20ac397,650<\/strong> <strong>that French short films generated in cinemas in 2014<\/strong>, managed through the short film distribution program in cinemas carried out by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.agencecm.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">L&#8217;Agence du Court m\u00e9trage<\/a>. This figure only represents 1.8% of funding in 2014. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the same report, the largest percentage of funding is provided by the CNC itself with 55%, a total of \u20ac12,240,855, followed by regional, provincial and local aid, with approximately \u20ac4,324,920, representing 19.5%, a similar percentage is contributed by television with 19.1%, approximately \u20ac4,232,790. Funding is completed with other aid from public administrations, with \u20ac37,280, 0.2% and private organizations (mainly rights management entities) with 4.2%, approximately \u20ac932,050.
