Next Monday, the Short Film Week begins, which grows a little more each year, and this year it comes packed with many activities, as can be seen on the newly launched website: http://www.madrid.org/semanadelcortometraje/cortos2016/index.html.
Among the activities we are preparing is the 2nd Distribution Meeting, this year with several new features, the most notable being a special pitching session for distribution. Short films awaiting release or in post-production will be presented to advise on the best strategy to follow. The committee will be formed by distribution professionals and media specialists in short films:

Ismael Martin (ECAM, Madrid en corto)
The aim is to discuss distribution in a very specific way based on real projects, with their creators, and to learn about the different points of view of each of the invited guests.

The Meeting will conclude with an international guest, none other than Fabrice Marquat, who is a programmer in the dissemination department of the French Short Film Agency, and who will speak to us about the distribution of short films in France and his work at the Agency.
